Seven Steps For Keeping Teeth Healthy For A Lifetime
A smile can last a lifetime if you take care of it. For this reason, parents need to instill good oral hygiene habits in their children, as early as possible.
According to the Surgeon General Richard H. Carmona's National Call-to-Action for Oral Health, children lose more than 51 million school hours, and adults lose more than 164 million hours of work each year due to dental problems or dental visits. Seven Steps to a Smile On Your Face
1. Brush your teeth and gums with fluoride toothpaste, at least twice a day, after breakfast and before going to bed.
2. Visit your dentist regularly.
3. Floss your teeth daily.4. The use of a fluoride-infused mouthwash strong, healthy teeth and gum.
5. To limit the number of times you eat snacks each day and remember to practice a healthy diet and plenty of calcium.
6. Wearing a mouthguard when participating in sports.
7. Ask your dentist about dental sealants.
Due to the light and Bright Smiles program, the Bright Futures Assets refers to the more than 50 million children around the world, free dental, maintenance, and treatment of cross-references, and oral health education.
