4 STEPS - CONCEPT OF A DIY BLOG
At first glance, most DIY blogs are just that, a blog. However, this is
not true of all of them. Most of them have an author who actually has the
necessary background to start a DIY blog, and this means that the concept of a
DIY blog is actually rather progressive.
A DIY blog is a blog that highlights a new style, setting, or creative
direction that a writer has come up with. If you find yourself with a great
idea but you want to take it through the proper planning and execution, then
you are on the right blog.
But if you are looking to create a new blog, the way you go about
creating it, the coverage, and the topic that you choose will affect your
eventual coverage in and of itself. You have to choose a topic that appeal to
you as a reader. But if you choose an issue that is a subject that you are
passionate about, then you can even potentially attract more readers than
before, and that is exactly what starts us off on our first DIY blog.
Step 1: FIND A HOBBY THAT INTERESTS
YOU
Before you start the blog, you have to look for a topic. You cannot
start with the kind of blog I created, Scrapbooking DIY Ideas, unless you
already have a list of likes and interests you had before you started.
Once you have your hobby, you should decide how you will write about it.
Do you want to have an easy accessible theme? Do you want to have your space a
place where people will find the latest and newest trends and inspirations? Or
do you have a point of view that you are looking to change or develop and want
to get as many people to read about your work as possible?
Step 2: WAYS OF GETTING MORE READERS
The more viral you make your blog, the more people will read. That means
that your readers will see the posts regularly, and will be more likely to read
your content than that of another article that you write.
And by having more readers read your blog, you will be more likely to
write better. You'll be able to access a larger audience and more content, and
therefore, better content. That will have more positive impacts on your online
profile, and thus, search engine optimization.
If you find that your readership has grown, there will be a greater
chance that people will start to engage with your content. And if you read that
you have started getting a lot of engagement from people who follow your blog.
You may not want your readers to read any of your posts, but what they see will
also be improved. That will take the reader-kindle. If your blogs start having
more engagement, the more you show your readers that they should start following
your content and stop reading other articles before you do, this will build
your more of an audience.
Step 3: CHOOSING WHAT TOPIC YOU COVER
So you see that your blog is gaining traction? So how do you cover it?
Do you decide to only cover the most popular trends of the day?
In order to gain more exposure, do you only cover the latest trends and
events? Do you only look at the side of the photographer who takes your
pictures?
Whether you are focusing on the social media aspect or the styling
aspect of the blog, you need to cover the emerging trends that exist in the
target audience.
What you need to be aware of is that trends and new events that are in
the news all of the time will have higher search engine optimization. You need
to have exposure in one of these areas if you want to have better visibility to
the targeted audience.
Step 4: LACK OF CONTENT
Most of the online platforms want to increase their number of visitors.
To do that, they sometimes ask for write-ups. However, when they ask for
write-ups, they usually do it for a particular reason. The reason is that they
want you to put your stamp on your content, so that they will have an easier
time connecting with your future readers.
And if you are unsure if you are covering the new trends that are out
there or covering things that are old news, then you must start looking at
trends that are already in the news, and you can also look at photo trends that
are already posted online to determine what content is being published.
If you don't put on your hat to cover the trends that are in the news,
then you will have no viral growth and as a result, no blogging success.
